Introducing TroveScore Patron
Starting today, you can become a TroveScore Patron. It's a membership for people whose library has outgrown the free account, and for people who want their Showcase to look like nobody else's. TroveScore stays free to start, and everything you've built stays yours.
What You Get as a Patron
Everything in the free account, plus the things that make TroveScore feel like your own:
Room for your whole library
Scan up to 75 shelves a day and keep up to 2,000 books. Bigger library? Get in touch.
A Showcase that looks like you
Every theme, wallpaper and piece of decor. String fairy lights along your shelves, let waves roll behind your books, or set a candle flickering beside your favorites.
Every year you've read
Look back on any year of your reading, not just this one, and share your Year in Books with no TroveScore line on the card.
Little things that add up
Private notes on any book, for your eyes only, and wishlist prices that appear the moment you save a book.
Wear it proudly
A gold Patron badge on your profile and Showcase, and Patron trophies that grow with every month you stay.
And whatever comes next
We're still building. New Patron features arrive as they're ready.

All of it for $1.99 a month, or $9.99 a year, about the price of one paperback (US dollars, tax included). Patron starts in the US and Canada, and you join on the website, from any browser, desktop or phone.
What Stays Free
Most of TroveScore is free: photographing a shelf, prices and the sell, donate or keep suggestion, listing on eBay, finding a library or school for your donations, Book Check, your Showcase page (with three themes, three wallpapers and a few pieces of decor), this year's reading page, and every reading trophy. Trophies are earned by reading, never bought.
What changes today is that free accounts now have a scan limit and a book limit. They're set well above what most people use, and the numbers are on the pricing page (and how limits work explains the details).
Make Your Shelf Yours
A Showcase is your collection on a page anyone can visit, and with Patron it can look like nobody else's. Here's what that can look like:
Try it for yourself: Pick a color theme, put a few pieces of decor on the shelf, and drag them between the books. Anything with a crown comes with Patron.
On your own Showcase, pick a theme in the Trove's Showcase tab, and arrange decor with "Arrange decor" on your Showcase page. Signed out, you can try the free themes on your preview.
Why We're Doing This
TroveScore is a small team. Every scan calls an AI model, every price comes from live eBay data, and every Showcase is served to whoever visits it. Patron is how we pay for that while keeping the free account genuinely useful. If TroveScore has helped you sort a shelf, sell a stack or keep track of your reading, becoming a Patron is the most direct way to keep it going. Thank you.

Is TroveScore still free?
Yes. Scanning, prices, the sell, donate or keep suggestion, eBay listing, Book Check, your Showcase, this year's reading page and every reading trophy are part of the free account. Free accounts have a scan limit and a book limit; the current numbers are on the pricing page.
What happens to my books if I'm over the free book limit?
Nothing is deleted. Books past the limit are hidden, not removed, and they come back when you make room or become a Patron. They are always included when you download your library.
What happens if I stop being a Patron?
The Patron extras switch off, and everything you made with them is kept. Your Showcase goes back to a free look, but your theme, wallpaper and decor choices are saved and return if you rejoin. Private notes stay readable. Nothing is deleted.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, in Settings. Cancel within 24 hours of a charge and that charge is refunded in full. The full refund policy is on the pricing page.
