Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account for Trophies?
To see them, yes — but not to start. Scan without an account, and when you sign in, everything you scanned before counts toward your trophies and your Trophies page.
Are TroveScore Trophies free?
Yes. Every trophy is free to earn, and your Trophies page is free to use.
How do I track the books I read in a year on TroveScore?
Mark a book as finished in your Trove. Each finished book counts toward that year’s Reader trophy, which runs from 1 to 200 books and starts over every January, so it doubles as a yearly reading goal.
Does scanning the same shelf twice earn more trophies?
No. Trophies count distinct books and real outcomes — books read, reviewed, sold or donated — not scans. Rescanning a shelf earns nothing.
Can I lose a trophy?
No. Once earned, a trophy is yours for good, even if you later remove books or your collection’s value drops.
Who can see my trophies?
Only you. Trophies appear on your own Trophies page and are not shown on your public Showcase.
